Merely Words

My other half and I have a very special relationship (well, besides being husband and wife), we only converse in English language. It started that way from the beginning when we met that our own mother tongue is considered a very alien language to us.

Razin picked up English very fast too (thanks to Playhouse Disney channel) and I'm very impressed at his vocabulary, though most of them came from the cartoons obviously.

Since we have been so accustomed to speaking English day in day out, I tend to blurt some non-kids friendly words too, like 'sh*it' (urghhh have to get rid of it) and 'damn'.

So far, it hasn't reached his ears (and the other little one) yet, and I'm trying hard to break the habit of saying those words out of frustration or for whatever reasons.

It gonna be difficult to explain to him once he starts using those ugly words, thus I keep reminding myself to watch what I say.

Nonetheless, it's kinda funny to hear him saying, "Ouh, not again !" when he couldn't find the specific number on the flash cards.

Razin even teased me, "Come on man..." when I had trouble putting on his shoes.

Now, should I laugh or what?
