In actual fact, I do listen to the new generation of songs, though I have to admit, I am very selective. My other half always teased me of being 'old' but I just don't know why songs that emerge after the 90s are just not my cup of tea.
Of course, there are a few exceptions. Westlife is one of them.
I am not a fan of boy bands. I just enjoy their songs. I'm not one of those girls who goes ga-ga with pin-up posters in the bedroom. I never had a crush on celebrities, thus I don't comprehend the magnitude of craziness surrounds those who has.

The evening when we (my mom and my sister included) were supposed to be serenaded by Westlife turned out to be a very disappointing one. We expected them to sing songs from the earlier albums. Instead they sang just a few of their own numbers (I Lay My Love On You, Flying Without Wings - that's it?) and the rest are none of theirs.I don't come here to listen to them singing Bad Romance (Lady Gaga), When I Ruled The World (Coldplay), etc. We paid for Westlife, not anyone else.
One girl behind us kept on screaming aimlessly throughout the concert that we became almost deaf afterwards. We screamed too, "WAAAAAAHHHH", when they got on the stage and when they started to sing a familiar tune. This girl was all "AAAAAAAAAAAAA" all the time. With no apparent reason. It was down right annoying.
One school-age couple in front of us blocked our view all the time, by taking photos non-stop. A few photos are acceptable, for keepsake, I understand. But 500 photos?
This was the only concert I wish they have refund policy.
